What we do with your data

Privacy statement

This statement explains which personal data Generational Ventures processes when you visit this website or contact us, and what your rights are.

Last updated on 10 October 2026

01Who processes your data

Generational Ventures B.V. is a venture studio and part of Generation C B.V., based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Generational Ventures B.V. is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.

02Which data we process

We collect no data that you do not leave behind yourself. In concrete terms:

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, your company name if you give one, and the content of your message.
  • Investor brochure request. Your first and last name, email address, your company name if you give one, whether you would invest privately or through a business, any additional notes, and your agreement to be contacted.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically records data on every visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. That is needed to deliver and secure the website.
  • Language choice. If you pick a language yourself, we remember it in a functional cookie so your next visit opens in the right one.

03What we use that data for

  • To answer your question or request and to get in touch with you.
  • To send you the information about investing that you asked for.
  • To keep the website working and secure, and to prevent abuse.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

05How long we keep data

  • Messages sent through the contact form are kept for up to two years after the last contact, so we can find a conversation again.
  • Data from a brochure request is kept for as long as there is contact about investing and for up to two years afterwards, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
  • Technical log files are deleted by our hosting provider within a short period.
  • Your cookie choice stays in your own browser until you clear it or change it.
  • Your language choice is kept for twelve months in your own browser.

06Who we share data with

We share data only with parties that help us run this website and our communication, and only as far as that is necessary. Think of our hosting provider and the service that delivers form submissions to us by email. Where required, we have a data processing agreement with those parties.

Where a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure there is an appropriate basis for that transfer, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

07Cookies

This website uses necessary cookies and similar storage to function and to remember your cookie and language choice. No consent is required for those. We place analytics and marketing cookies only with your consent, and at the moment we use none at all.

The cookie page lists exactly what is stored, what it is for and how long it stays. You can change your choice there at any time, and you can always delete cookies through your browser settings.

08Website statistics

If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Vercel Web Analytics to count how often pages are viewed. This shows us which parts of the site are used. It places no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Without your consent it is not loaded.

For each page view it records: the time, the page viewed, the website you came from, your country, region and city, the device type, the operating system and the browser. To count visits within a single day, Vercel uses a code derived from your request that is discarded after 24 hours. We only see aggregated figures, never data about one person. Vercel Inc. processes this data on our behalf.

09Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights.

  • Access to the data we hold about you.
  • Correction of data that is inaccurate.
  • Erasure of your data.
  • Restriction of processing.
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Transfer of your data to another party.
  • Withdrawal of consent given earlier.

You can submit a request through the contact form on this website. We respond within one month. To avoid handing data to the wrong person, we may ask you to explain your request further.

10Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The website works only over an encrypted connection, access to data is limited to those who need it, and we choose suppliers that meet comparable standards.

11Changes

We update this statement when our way of working or the website changes. The date at the top shows when the last change was made. For significant changes we will say so clearly on the website.

12Contact and complaints

If you have a question about this statement or about how we handle your data, get in touch through the contact form on this website.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, through autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
